Managing Partner of Inter-Risco, João Amaro joined the company in 2010, with over 13 years of experience in valuations, M&A and due diligence assignments, not only for national and international private equity firms but also for corporate groups.

He was Partner at Deloitte’s Corporate Finance for 2 years, after spending 6 years as a Director in Transaction Services practice and 4 years as Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Portugal. Prior he spent 2 years as Senior Equity Analyst at Morgan Stanley.

He holds a BSc in Management from the University of Coimbra and a Post-Graduation in Risk and Derivatives from Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Since 2015 he is member of APCRI’s Direction (Portuguese Private Equity and Venture Capital Association).

Partner of Inter-Risco, Isabel Coelho joined the company in 2006 as Investment Director, bringing more than 8 years of experience in the Portuguese private equity industry.

Before joining Inter-Risco she spent one year at Grupo Português de Saúde, a Portuguese private health group in the corporate development division, and worked for 6 years as an Associate at Inovcapital (currently, Portugal Ventures).

She holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Porto and an MBA from Warwick Business School.

Partner of Inter-Risco, joined the company in 2006 as Investment Director, with 8 years of experience in audit, risk management and management planning and control at Ernst & Young's Audit and Business Risk practice, with strong exposure to manufacturing industry, automotive, and energy, both in Portugal and Angola.

He holds a BSc in Management from Universidade Portucalense and a Post-Graduation in Financial Analysis from the University of Porto.

Joined Inter-Risco in 2010 as Investment Director, bringing over 11 years of experience in the Portuguese private equity industry.

She worked for 4 years as an Analyst and 7 years as an Investment Director at Inovcapital (currently Portugal Ventures), gaining significant knowledge of the Portuguese SME and private equity market, with strong exposure to manufacturing, consumer goods and biotech industries.

She holds a BSc in Management and an MBA from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

Joined Inter-Risco in 2019 as Junior Associate, after working as an Analyst at Sonae and Banco de Portugal, in 2022 assumed the position of Associate.

He holds a BSc in Accounting and Administration from ISCAP - Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração, a MSc in Finance from the University of Porto, and an Executive Course in Mergers & Acquisitions from Católica Porto Business School.

Joined Inter-Risco in 2012 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), she has over 14 years of experience in working with national and multinational groups in different tax areas and accountancy. Sílvia is a Chartered Accountant.

She was Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers Tax department, expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions, where she was involved in a number of tax due diligence assignments, vendor assistance, in setting-up and restructuring international corporate structures and structuring investment, in different activity sectors, both for corporate and private equity firms. Sílvia has started her career as an Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

She holds a BSc in Management by Universidade Portucalense, a Post-Graduation degree in Tax by ISAG – Instituto Superior de Administração e Gestão and a Mergers and Acquisitions specialization by Porto Business School.

Joined Inter-Risco in June, 2013 as Financial Assistant, with over 15 years of experience in accountancy, tax and payroll.

Isabel was an Accountant of Tax Management & Accounting Services of PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she was involved on accounting, tax and payroll management of several entities.

She holds a BSc in Accountancy by Instituto Superior da Maia. Isabel is a Chartered Accountant holding a relevant expertise in this area.
