Catari is a family-owned group, established in 1979 by Carlos Nery, and currently lead by its son, Paulo Nery, that operates in the metallic equipment industry, designing and manufacturing Access and Security solutions, mainly scaffolding, for the Construction, Industrial and Events sectors. The company has international recognition, as it exports more than 80% of its production to countries such as Turkey, France, Spain, Chile among other countries in Europe, Latin America, Northern Africa and Middle East.
In 2021 Catari’s consolidated turnover almost reached Eur 23 Mn, with a structure of more than 190 employees distributed between Catari Indústria (the production unit) and the commercial subsidiaries, Catari Portugal and Catari Espanha.
The partnership between Catari Group and Inter-Risco aimed to support the development of the company’s strategic guidelines, boosting its international growth and recognition of Catari brand, not only as a producer of scaffolding equipment but also as a provider of related value-added services, as well as investing in production and management tools.
After the successful execution of the business plan outlined in December 2016, in November 2022, the exit of Fundo Inter-Risco II CI from the share capital of Catari’s was realized, with the acquisition to reach 100% of the Group’s share capital by Paulo Nery, the CEO, son of the founder.
